Neither ‘ulat’ nor ‘antu’
Dah mula bersarang nampaknya blog nih..hehe. Al-maklum laa..bila dah lama kita tinggal something, nak start balik tu lah the big problem..hoho..
Actually, sekarang tengah hamatteru BACA BUKU!!hoho..
So, when it comes to reading, I’ll be very specific about it, and make sure that it’s a really good book, only then I’ll read it through.
Persoalannya, tgh baca buku apa la ni?
Hehehe.. here’s the list..
1. Retire Young Retire Rich by Robert T. Kiyosaki. (author of Rich Dad Poor Dad)
2. Bercinta Sampai ke Syurga(Aku Terima Nikahnya 2) by Hasrizal Abdul Jamil.
3. Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus by John Gray.
4. Rich Dad Poor Dad(on the way from Rakuten book store)
Actually, I just read no 2 and 3 only a few pages. I wanted to finish the first one, then go to 2nd, 3rd, 4th.. The problem is, I’m a horribly slow reader!! Even a Malay book took me few days to finish. How horrible is that?huhu..Tu la pasai..sapa suh maleh ngat baca buku?!#%&'($!!” Serves me right laa.. 😦
At first, I didn’t even had the heart to read one of Kiyosaki’s book, because it concerns financial and business matters, which I thought I won’t ever get involved in.
But, I took it anyway, and read a few pages. Just for ‘isi masa lapang’ kinda reading. And…. it took my breath right away!
You know why? It’s not the business part that impressed me, but the way of his thinking.
He was an ordinary kid, has an ordinary dad(which he calls Poor Dad in his book) and mom. But, he literally changed his way of thinking at the age of 20(if I’m not mistaken) because of the talks he has had over the years he spend with his Rich Dad(his friend, Mike’s dad)
Because his reality was so ordinary, he also had ordinary thoughts about carreer and financial matters, just like me. But, he was able to get out of those ordinary thoughts that usually people has about money and how to spend them, and decided to live a new reality. I was impressed by how he changed his reality to a whole new one, and by that change, he has become success by being financially free and was able to retire early, which I believe is not in ordinary people’s mind about carreer.
So, it’s a new thing for me. To change, it has to take a lot of courage. There are a lot of risks. But, if you really want it, you can do it. That’s what Kiyosaki proved to the world.
So, for those who wanna change, and couldn’t find the right motivation, I think you can make this book as a good motivation to change. Remember, if it’s not business part that you want, just take his thinking and motivation part.
As for me, I’d really like to have a business one day.
9/10 rezeki itu adalah datang dari perniagaan (Hadith Riwayat Tarmizi)
Walaupun ni hadith dhaif, tapi macam dah jadi sebutan biasa zaman sekarang. I think there must be some truth in there. Because, if you think about it, business involves a lot of risks. In this world, people tend to have satisfaction only when something they do involves risks. For instant, snowboarding or skiing. I don’t think they wanna stop doing it just because there’s a risk of falling or hurt all over your body. Because, the fun lies in the risks. After you surpass the risks, then you’ll get the fun. Same with business. There’s no thrill and fun without the risks.
And that’s also how life is!
If you feel you can’t change because you need someone to make you realize and strong enough to change.. Well, let me tell you, you’re damn wrong!
You are what you say. You are what your mind says. Your mind is your reality. Your mind is your best and most powerful weapon!
If you say you can’t, your mind will eventually follow your mouth. So, beware of what you’re saying. I’m still learning to watch my mouth. 😀
Please. Take my writing as a reminder. As I do as I’m writing.
All goodness come from Allah, and the bad come from me, but it’s also under Allah’s will. Wallahu’alam..

p/s: Wish me luck on finishing the book. I’ll keep you posted about what I read. InsyaAllah.. 🙂
